There are two contests:

Extend Firefox 3 Contest
INTRODUCTION
The objective of this contest is to encourage and promote innovation in Web experience through the development of add-ons to the Firefox 3 Web browser.
ELIGIBILITY
-Contest is open only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or 20 years of age in the case of Japan).
-Contest is open only to individuals or groups of individuals. Contest is not open to companies, educational institutions, organizations, etc. or to groups associated with such institutions.
-Contest is void in Puerto Rico, Province of Quebec (Canada) and where prohibited by law. Residents of Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Union of Myanmar, are not eligible to participate in this contest.
-Residents of the United States between the ages of 13 and 17 years old (or 16 to 17 years old in Brazil) are eligible to participate in the Contest but will be required to submit a signed parental consent form in order to collect any prizes won.
WORK CRITERIA
All Entries must meet specific criteria to be accepted into the contest: (a) Entry must be compatible with and function properly in final product version of Mozilla Firefox 3; (b) the full source, including that of any binary components, must be made available to Sponsor (upon request); (c) the description of the Entry's behavior, changes, and features must be clearly and accurately explained upon submission; (d) Entrants must include a URL to a web-based tutorial, or preferably a web-based video, detailing the major functionality of their Entry; (e) Entry must comply with policies for hosting at Mozilla Add-ons site (addons.mozilla.org), as posted at https://addons.mozilla.org/pages/policy/.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest runs from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time March 17, 2008 through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, July 4th, 2008. For Brazil from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time April 13, 2008 through 11:59p.m. Pacific Time July 31, 2008). Sponsor in its sole discretion may cancel or postpone the Contest.
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded by category. The categories are:
-Best New Category; and
-Best Update Category.
Best New Category
The three grand prize winners in this category will each receive a prize package comprising: travel and accommodation to a Mozilla Developer Day event in 2008 (average retail value in US$ (ARV): $1,750), an Apple MacBook Air computer (ARV: $3,000), VMware Fusion (ARV: $200), ActiveState Komodo IDE 4 with T-Shirt and Mug (ARV: $350), and Firefox Laptop Bag, Stickers and T-Shirts (ARV: $300) for a total aggregate ARV of $5,600.
The six (6) runner-up prize winners in this category will each receive a prize package comprising ActiveState Komodo IDE 4 with T-Shirt and Mug (ARV: $350), and Firefox Laptop Bag, Stickers, T-Shirts and More (ARV: $300) for a total aggregate ARV of $650.
Best Updated Category
There will be three grand prize winners and three runner-up prize winners for this category. The three grand prize winners in this category will each receive a prize package comprising a Apple 15" MacBook Pro computer (ARV: $2,000), VMware Fusion (ARV: $200), ActiveState Komodo IDE 4 with T-Shirt and Mug (ARV: $350), and Firefox Laptop Bag, Stickers and T-Shirts (ARV: $300) for a total aggregate ARV of $2,850.
