Essay Competition in Private International Law
Subject
Any aspect of private international law. Essays, dissertations or theses written as part of a module or degree at a higher education institution are eligible. Works that have already been published, accepted for publication, or submitted for publication to a journal are not eligible.
Eligibility
Any students of a higher education institution anywhere in the world.
Length
10,000 words maximum (including footnotes.)
Format
Essays should be received as a Word-compatible document, and should conform to the Journal of Private International Law’s style guide.
Prizes
First prize: $500, plus $300 worth of Hart Publishing books.
Second prize: $250, plus $150 of Hart Publishing books.
Third prize: $150, plus $100 of Hart Publishing books.
